A Good Time

If you want nothing but a good time in life then you do not commit yourself to giving more of your time. If you want a relationship with someone you have got to give them something that cannot be bought and that is your time. Anyone that only sees you on the weekend isn’t looking for anything more than a good time.

People who commit themselves make time for that person that is special to them. Anyone that only gets your weekends will soon enough  get very bored with settling for such a little bit of you. You have to open yourself up and make more room for that person or you will never have their fidelity.

If you travel a lot then you need to make time to have lunch or dinner with the person or spend time on skype. You should also invite them to travel with you that way you learn so much about the person. It’s time together that builds relationships but if all you want is a good time then enjoy your weekends with that person until they walk.

I’m in  a situation that allows me to travel if I so chose and go away on weekends as well. My kids are self sufficient and they do not need me as they once did. My children want to see me happy as I want to see them happy and I would never leave my kids every week for days on end.

I would gladly travel with someone several times a month and go away for several weekends but I would never come and go without discussing it with my kids and making sure we had contact. I’m not being selfish but in today’s world you have to give and be flexible if you want to build a relationship.
